Rory Redick

Rory Redick is the firm’s Owner and Utilities Manager. He began his career with Alaska DOT&PF as a seasonal utility inspector while attending the University of Alaska Anchorage. This seasonal position eventually led to full-time employment in the Central Region Utilities Group in 1985. He worked his way through the Utility section from utility inspector (1983 - 1989), agreement writer (1989 - 1999), utility permit officer (1999 – 2007), and eventually Utility Geographic Lead (2007 – 2013).

Rory retired from Alaska DOT&PF in 2013 and in 2015, with the encouragement of his family, started RRR, LLC. His experience and historical knowledge of Alaska DOT&PF policy, procedures, and best practices allow him to efficiently scope and develop utility conflict avoidance/minimization strategies for transportation design projects. In the event the design requires utility relocation, Rory can prepare utility relocation agreements and funding cost estimates to support the construction of the transportation project.

Ryan Redick, PE

Ryan Redick is a life-long Alaskan, UAA graduate, and experienced licensed civil engineer. Ryan has broad civil engineering and construction inspection experience and has managed millions of dollars of capital improvement projects for private and public clients. He has developed scoping documents, feasibility studies, design studies, construction plans/specifications/estimates, value engineering, and construction inspection close-out packages.

Ryan was inspired by his father, Rory, to pursue a career in engineering. Ryan says, "I went into engineering because of him and continue to learn from him every day." Ryan's favorite part about being an engineer is developing solutions to complex problems, and he enjoys working in the gray zone of project development.

After many years as a consultant engineer for other firms, Ryan decided it was time to join his father at RRR, LLC. Ryan's goal is to increase RRR, LLC's capacity to provide Alaska DOT&PF with utility services.

In his free time, Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife, Kort, and his two boys, Kraig and Kole, playing sports, and going fishing.
